Lily had her vaccination.

This is what Lily thinks of needles!!!

Princess Lily (As i call her) just got back from her yearly vaccination and well, it was pretty traumatic for her and well, ME !!! :(
I was feeling okay about it, wasn't nervous or anything, well i tried not to be so it didn't rub off on her because she is quite nervous and anxious as it is. ANYWAY, we got there and straight away we were called in, gave her a check over, checked her heart, weight (5.5kg) and well, she is all healthy!! YAY. Just what i wanted to hear.
THEN COMES THE NEEDLE *DUN DUN DUUUN*...I held her facing me and the EXACT same thing happened as when she was a baby, the needle went it and because she squirmed so much it came straight through the other side of her skin so none of the vaccine solution went it, SO, the vet got a 2nd needle and she put in the needle in a Lily SCREAMED so much and moved that she stopped, I was quite shocked because i didn't think she would react so badly (Maybe she remembers being micro chipped?? That needle was HUGE) the vet then got ANOTHER needle and thought it may be better if she took her away so a nurse could hold her while she injected her. I heard her scream again but i knew it was essential she was up to date with her injection. It was all over and done with then she came back to me looking normal, shes such a prissy princess!! LOL. As much as i hated seeing her cry i knew it had to be done, she's always out and about, she isn't an indoor lap dog, well she LOVES walking, running and swimming, any out door activity but loves to be indoor cuddling too but I'm sure she would rather be outside than cuddling indoors with anyone. :)
As i was waiting to pay we saw a really cute puppy, guessing he/she was in for their puppy injection. Lily soon perked up as soon as she saw the dog. I took her to the pet shop and bought all of the dogs a pigs ear each. Lily done her usual act and peed in the pet shop so i had to clean that up!! She scent marks EVERYWHERE and i mean EVERYWHERE. You cant walk more than 10 paces on a walk without her peeing!

Not sure if its just me but I honestly do think vet prices are extortionate!! I paid just under £40 for the injection. What do you think about the prices?? I'd love to hear your opinions too.

Silly picture of them both below. HE HE HE.
